Understanding History
Through
 Primary and Secondary Sources

Join 4th graders from Glenridge Elementary School in Clayton, Missouri as they host this program exploring the use of primary and secondary sources to understand an event in history.
The topic for our inquiry into primary and secondary sources will be World War I as RoundTrips joins you live from the Liberty Memorial National World War I Museum in Kansas City which was recently designated by Congress as the nation's official World War I museum.  Experts from the National World War I Museum will share artifacts of the war housed at the museum, take students on a virtual tour of the Museum, and answer student questions.  Glenridge students will offer short presentations and accept student questions on three topics based on their own research using primary and secondary sources from the Museum and other locations.
