RoundTrips, the School District of Clayton, Missouri's distance-learning initiative, is happy to announce a series of live videoconference and television programs direct from Monroeville, Alabama, hometown of Harper Lee. As part of their study of "To Kill A Mockingbird," students will have the opportunity to take a virtual tour of the town, interact with adults who knew Ms. Lee as a child and writer, meet members of the cast of the play bringing the story to life every year in Monroeville, and learn about the history and culture of the town from local historians. Will your students read the book this year? Have they read it in the past? Are you interested in them learning more about the town that greatly influenced the writing of this modern classic? If so, then we hope you can join us for one of our programs.
