RoundTrips is currently working with the Truman Library and Presidential Museum in Independence, Missouri to develop an interactive virtual field trip edition of their hugely successful White House Decision Center program which is now available on-site at the Truman Library. In this real-time simulation, students go back in time to participate in an important decision-making moment during the Truman Administration. Students read de-classified primary source documents of the time and take on the roles of President Truman and his advisors to determine the course of action they would choose to take when confronted with an historic event from the Truman Administration. This year's event? The Berlin Blockade Crisis
Want your students to refine their leadership and communication skills? Analyze historic documents? Debate and defend their point of view? Interact with students across the nation and historians from the Truman Presidential Library and Museum? Then join us for this real-time simulation from the Virtual White House Decision Center.
