How can I create our own journey?

Interested in using RoundTrips' portable satellite transmitter and video studio to take your students to a destination of your own choosing?

Contact Tim and Jim to talk about your idea.  They'll work with you to create an interactive videoconference or virtual field trip linked directly to your school district's curriculum, learning goals and standards and help you determine locations for the trip, experts to bring along, ideas for the itinerary, time frame for the journey, and evaluation materials for the entire experience.

Possible journeys are as varied as your imagination,
but for example you might:

Take your study of the Civil War to the battlefields of Missouri and have students interact with experts from the location
Link your study of science or mathematics to where people are using it in the real world
Go into the workplace and let students see what it means to be a doctor, lawyer, artist, engineer, bridge builder, etc.
Become videoconference "pen pals" with students from another school district.
Create programs where your students "become the experts" and share what they've learned about a particular subject with similar grade level students elsewhere in the state; then become audience members for the other school's student experts as well.
Interview an author of a book you're reading or travel to the location of the story.

How can you help me and my school district get started?
